Teddy escaped Teddy Hall in a late-night sting operation and defected to Christ Church
First Teddy visited the Arc de Triomphe
Then it started raining and Teddy got discouraged. He sat down on the pavement and had a good cry.
Teddy loves old cars... and forest green is his favourite colour!
He stopped to ponder the Flame of Liberty...
And then he saw it in the distance... the Eiffel Tower!
So he started across the Pont de l'Alma
He stopped along the Seine to ponder his life... it's hard being a bear, after all
Then he went down to the bank and sat by the shore for a while
Once he finally got to the Champs de Mars, Teddy was in a fine mood for making friends
Everyone stared at him. He never felt so awkward and popular at the same time
He helped show this couple they would make good parents
Finally he got close enough to admire his beloved Tower
Teddy was truly happy
Then he had to wee. Lucky there is a public loo nearby!
He swooped in just before this guy, who forgave him... because cuddles
Nothing left now but to wander the streets. Teddy stopped to smell the roses...
He wondered if he was classy enough to use this park...
These hanging prosciuttos and parmesan cheese wheels caught his eye
Teddy just loves cheese
Mmmm... #dat aroma
After all this running around, Teddy was pooped. He fell asleep in the metro
But he perked back up at the sight of the Place St. Michel and its lovely fountain
Teddy is a fan of art noveau. He loves the early-twentieth-century metro entrances all around Paris
He sneeked a peek at Notre Dame
Teddy had a sit outside a bookshop
Turns out it was quite a famous one back in the day
Teddy was quite a fan of Hemingway's, so he basked in his aura for a while...
And decided to go inside, where he met a fellow #oxlyfer. She was surprised to see him so far from home
He stopped at a café nearby and had some canelés
He made it to the Sorbonne and then wandered all around the Latin Quarter
He wanted to Snapchat his friends, so he stopped at McDonald's to use the wifi
Then he crossed the Pont Neuf and wandered over to the Louvre
He just had to take a selfie with this random arch... it's probably important and it had that pink and green combo that Teddy loves
He walked along the rue de Rivoli for a bit...
And then took a picture in front of this thing, which was important although he forgot exactly why.
Time to head home! Back on the RER!
But back home in the UK, Teddy got stopped at cutoms. The officer said she wanted to ask him a couple of questions... But first a trip through the x-ray machine
For a second it looked like the officers were none too pleased with what they'd found
So they put the cuffs on Teddy and left him to ponder what he'd done. (Allegedly!)
But in the end it was all a joke. Teddy was free to go!
Now Teddy's positively zonked. But he's made it back safe and sound, and he shall be returning to Teddy Hall any day now!
