Herman Cain Thinks That He Should Be The Fifth Face On Mount Rushmore

Talk about his campaign getting rocky! When Cain was asked which President should be added to Mount Rushmore, he gave a surprising answer. Well, surprising if you didn't already know about Cain's ego!

All day long ABC News reporters have been interviewing the various GOP presidential candidates. Each reporter has ended with the question: “Who should be the fifth President on Mount Rushmore?”

Most of the candidates gave the obligatory nod to Reagan. TPM thought Michele Bachmann had the weirdest answer of the day, at first suggesting it should be James Garfield but then changing her mind to Calvin Coolidge.

However, we hadn’t reckoned on the awesome ego of Herman Cain.

The honor of interviewing Herman Cain fell to ABC’s Jonathan Karl, and when he asked Cain which President should join the ranks of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt, even he seemed shocked by the answer.

“He hasn’t been President yet,” Cain replied with a laugh. Responding to Karl’s look of surprise, Cain quickly added that “Reagan would be a possibility.”
