One of the best adventures is taking a three hour train ride from Anchorage on The Alaska Train to the little town of Seward. The train snakes through mountains, past streams and waterfalls, and offers an opportunity to spot local wildlife. Once in the seaside fishing town of Seward, take a hike up Mt. Marathon for views of the entire day. Relax in the afternoon with a cup of hot cocoa while watching fisherman toss the day's catches.

5. Kutna Hora Bone Chapel- Czech Republic

Kutna Hora, located in the Czech Republic is a short distance from Prague, the main draw for many travelers. Visiting the small town of Kutna Hora is worth a visit to see Sedlec Ossuary, a Roman Catholic Chapel, decorated with none other than thousands upon thousands of human bones. The chapel is estimated to contain the skeletons of 40,000 to 70,000 people. It's unique. It's creepy. It's worth a stop.
