It isn’t a cut and dry case of Assad using chemical weapons. Both the government and the rebels have been known to possess access to nerve gas and have used it previously. Both sides are committing these atrocities and not thinking clearly about intervention only kills more innocent civilians. A more efficient response would be to give the civilians information about chemical attacks and shipments of sarin antidote. This would save lives, regardless of side and wouldn’t require extensive involvement until more information becomes available to make further decisions.
