    D.C. Artist paints a portrait for Kanye West

    Last night, November 21, 2013 Kanye West performed at the Verizon Center. After his concert, local D.C. artist Demont “Peekaso” Pinder had an opportunity to meet with Kanye. Pinder gave Kanye a portrait, titled “You are So Beautiful” Pinder, is well known in the D.C. area, a lot of his work is displayed at the Howard Theater. Pinder posted pictures on his instagram account with Kanye, as you can see above Kanye was ecstatic to accept the gift. The portrait “You are So Beautiful” captures the essence of his late mother Donda West, his fiance Kim Kardashian and his first born child North (Nori) West. There is also a silhouette of Kanye and Donda flying a kite, Pinder said when Kanye showed his father the painting, Ye said “Dad there goes your baby momma lol” we all laughed Pinder added. Then Kanye’s dad said he took the original picture of Ye and his mom flying the kite. Pinder also added how nice and appreciative Kanye West was for the artwork.
