How To Inadvertently Deflect Trick Or Treaters

What's even scarier than zombies and Miley Cyrus impersonators on Halloween? STRANGER DANGER! The fear is amped up crazy amounts by Halloween trick or treating antics. The strangers don't even have to lure, kids come knocking on their own accord. So i thought i would signal to the children and parents of Melbourne that the residents in our dwelling are safe and government sanctioned to hand out candy. This resulted in a total of zero kids coming by, and a suspicious visit by our local police department (jk.) Moral of the story: more candy for me!
