If You're Complaining About A Little Winter, Here's What Happened In Canada Last Night

Our neighbours in Prince Edward Island are reeling from a real snowstorm.

Greetings. It appears that our friends south of the border are visibly upset with some dropping temperatures.

omg it is so cold outside and it's hella windy

Let's not forget when "Snowmageddon of 2015" terrorized NYC with 10 whole inches of snow.

Well, to give you some warranted perspective, some of Canada's maritime provinces (like P.E.I) was just hit with a blizzard that dumped nearly 90 centimeters of snow.

Here was a live view. Wind gusts checked in at 135 km/hour.

And here's one when things started to ~settle~.

This morning, some residents woke up to a little snow at their doorstep.

Can I just text this to my boss and wait for him to figure the rest out on his own? @islandmorning #pei

It was a little difficult getting their driveways shoveled.

And leaving the house proved to be just the littlest of challenges.

Some folks managed to break free.

But then they experienced some difficulty starting their cars.

    And walking their dogs.

    And maneuvering anything, anywhere.

A 7 foot tall snow drift blocks the front of Ann's house in Summerside, PEI. This last storm dropped 80cm on the city

Plows couldn't even make their way through town, so locals took it upon themselves.

(If they could even get to their shoveling supplies)

Well, the shovels are out there somewhere. #PEI @CBCPEI #Borden

So if you're bitching about a bit of frigid temperatures in the U.S. today...

Here. Let this New Brunswick man spell it out for you.

(On a serious note, P.E.I is bracing another storm this week. Stay safe, everyone!)
