Canada! The land of the great outdoors, sweet, nectarous maple syrup, and absolute tyranny.
That's according to a recent survey of American eighth-graders, some of whom believe Canadians are ruled under a dictatorship.
Along with this lil' revelation, other findings in the survey say...

Twenty-three per cent of these teens believe Canada has a leader with absolute power.
Twelve per cent of them further believe that the country "discourage[s] participation by citizens in public affairs.”
And 10% think that the Canadian government is "controlled by the military."
Furthermore, the study also found that Australia and France are also suffering under similar political dictatorships.
According to American teens, the cool club of dictatorships comprises Canada, Australia, France, and North Korea. Sounds about right.
