This PhD Student Uses Hip Hop To Raise Awareness For Skin Cancer

"We need that skrillah to stop this killer!"

University of Wollongong PhD student Nat Harris has mixed his passion for music with his research skills, to record a rap to raise awareness for cancer research.

Nat has been working on developing a new drug that has the potential to improve chemotherapy treatments with many different types of metastasised cancers.

Nat is using his rap and lyrical talents to apply for the Thinkable Open Innovation Award, in order to use his skills to focus on skin cancers specifically.

30 Australians are diagnosed with melanoma every day. To support Nat and his research, vote for his video here.
