2. Flipping through all your TV Hits and Smash Hits magazines to find the perfect posters for your book covers.
3. Using a ruler to try and scrape out those annoying bubbles on your books from the contact.
4. Debating which backpack you wanted.
5. As well as which pencil case.
Tin or plastic case?
6. Organising all your brand new stationery.
7. Perfecting your bubble writing for your title pages.
8. Grudgingly going to the school uniform shop to buy a brand new one.
9. Your parents insisting on taking a photo of you on the first day back.
10. Making sure your parents bought adequate recess snacks for you.
11. Packing your lunch and including a little freezer block to keep it cool.
12. Or freezing your water bottle overnight.
13. Really, really struggling to get up the first day back.
14. And having your 'rents come in and open the blinds.
15. Hoping for a spare 50c so you could buy some lollies from the canteen at lunchtime.
16. Attending that first school assembly and finding out who your teacher was going to be.
17. Then getting used to a whole new class with new people.
18. Playing games on your first day of class, revolving around everybody remembering each other's names.
19. And wearily catching the super hot bus home, gearing yourself up for a whooole new year.
