.... everything was going as planned.
Until the group left the stage in search of three men to "cater to."
(That moment when you know God is shining down on you.)
We all quickly learned that "cater to" was code for lap dance. Magic Johnson, Nelly, and Terrence Howard didn't know what hit 'em.
As expected, Beyoncé snatched every bit of life from Terrence.
Fun Fact: Terrence Howard invented the popular phrase "Won't he do it?!" right here at this very moment.
He hasn't been the same since.
Meanwhile, Nelly was mentally thanking every St. Louis stripper for preparing him for this moment.
And whoever suggested he chose Kelly to sing the hook in "Dilemma."
Then there was Magic, who was just doing his best not to have to sleep on the couch that night.
Oh and if you thought any of this stopped Bey from rifting everyone's edges away before the end of the performance, you thought wrong.
By the end of the performance Magic, Nelly, Terrence, and every other man in the building had become Destiny's Child fans. We will forever cherish this moment of Beyoncé history.
