1. Burberry

Last month, during the Spring Summer Menswear show (and the recent update of Instagram’s video posts), Burberry came up with this little gem over here, which gave their followers ‘a glimpse behind the scenes of the #Burberry Prorsum Menswear show’. One of the comments on the board that we would totally agree with claims that this is the ‘best edit of a video yet’, as the video is great curation of clips of the UK, the Burberry event, some Burberry products, really good looking male models - not to mention, what looks to be a banjo player! Its definitely worth a look to see the innovation and creativity that Burberry, yet again, is able to capture in social media.

2. Dolce & Gabbana

Up next, we have Dolce and Gabbana, with this Instagram post of a blue chair by the coast line, enticing followers to engage with them by hash tagging #DGLIGHTBLUE. We admire this post very much, because it encourages more social media engagement - and you know how crazy we are with social media engagement. Apart from that, the photo is very timely, getting their followers all excited about the summer season and heading to the beach. And lastly, there really is not much in this photo to say its Dolce & Gabbana. And yet there it is, and it just sort of screams it anyway - giving an image in your head of a family gathering in some beach in Sicilia, with the sun, the sand, and Monica Bellucci.

3. Harry Winston

No matter how many years it has been since she passed, Marilyn Monroe still definitely knows how to do it. Harry Winston comes in third place for their post on Marilyn Monroe and her hit song “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”. What we like about this post is its obvious connotation towards heritage, as if saying out loud, ‘yes, Marilyn loved us, and we’re sure you do too!’

4. Alexander McQueen

In fourth place, we have this photo here by Alexander McQueen. We love it because it all comes together with the feathers, the headgear, and the sort of scary/stoic gaze Edie Campbell gives you - to give you one very Alexander McQueen look. We think the photo definitely catches attention, and gets you excited to see what the rest of McQueen’s 2013 campaign has in store for you!

5. Diane von Furstenberg

And lastly, here we have DVF with this photo on their Instagram account. Their caption describes it well by saying, “make a wild statement!” It takes you into the life of an average DVF girl, and shows them to be fun, fearless, sexy, and exciting women! Not to mention, those are really pretty shoes!
