According to the Miami Herald, gunshots were heard around 2:00 PM yesterday. A road ranger went to the scene and found a naked man chewing on another man’s face. A police officer was also flagged down and told the man to back away, but he didn’t move and continued the unflinching assault. The officer shot him but the attacker still failed to stop after being shot, forcing the officer to keep firing (at least a half dozen times, according to witnesses on the scene). The other man was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, according to police, but is still alive.

krisztinai 11 months agoA news report I saw earlier said the victim lost 75% of his face and is “unrecognizable.” They also said this is pretty much the worst injury the hospital he was sent to has ever seen. I feel awful for that guy. Deep in the pit of my stomach I’m afraid it’s not a “cocaine psychosis” but something contagious, like the Mad Cow disease in Zombieland. I mean when they interviewed the witness who called the cops, he said the cops kept telling the creepy guy to stop and despite such orders he was still chewing the ripped-off flesh he had in his mouth.
