Iconic Images Recreated With Star Wars Figures

In photographer David Eger’s “Cloned Photos” project, he has recreated historical photographs, movie posters, and imagery using Clone Troopers and other Star Wars figures. This project is a “spin-off” of Eger’s also awesome 365 Days of Clones series.

“Troopers Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima,” based on Joe Rosenthal’s photo.

“Galloping Trooper,” based on film pioneer Eadweard Muybridge’s “Galloping Horse.”

“Vitruvian Trooper,” based on the famous “Vitruvian Man” by Leonardo Da Vinci.

“Trooper vs Trooper,” based on the famous photo of Muhammad Ali standing over Sonny Liston by Neil Leifer.

“Tank Trooper or The Unknown Trooper,” based on the Tiananmen Square Protest photo by Jeff Widener.

“C.T.,” based on “E.T.”

“One Small Step,” based on Neil Armstrong’s moon portrait.

“Abbey Road,” based on Ilan Macmillan’s famous Beatles album cover.

“The Cloned Kiss,” based on Alfred Eisenstaedt’s famous “The Kiss,” taken at the Victory over Japan parade in New York City.
