Paralyzed Teen Walks At High School Graduation VIDEO

For Patrick Ivison of San Diego, this moment was definitely priceless. The 17-year-old student who was paralyzed for most of his life because of an accident that happened to him when he was a year old convinced him that living a life will not be easy.

However, he made a commitment to himself of walking on stage to accept his high school diploma. And so he did. At the commencement ceremony he was greeted by cheers and standing ovation from the people who encouraged him on every step he took.

With the help of the assistance provided by his trainer, a custom walker and his service dog Patrick collected his diploma after passing high school with a 4.0 grade-point average. For Patrick these steps were not just towards collecting his diploma, but to enter and welcome a new phase of life.
