It's not hard to be twice as wealthy as the past 8 presidents combined when you have a business background rather than a lifetime of public service, not to mention economic boom during the 80s and 90s made many people wealthy. I'm sure most every congressman is wealthier than his/her counterparts from the 70s, 80s and 90s. As for how likable the guy is: have you ever met him? Or are you just prejudicing him based on media bias and the fact that rich people tend “to be assholes”…maybe he doesn't waste time on things not worth it, which means he doesn't put up with sniveling journalists. In terms of his business record: he did his job…which was to earn investors money. It's called capitalism, and I heard France elected a socialist if you don't like the idea of capitalism. I applaud the guy for his business record, I hope he can be just as successful as the President as he was earlier in his life with other jobs. But I guarantee his main goal won't be earning investors money.
