This is Amanda Fisher, a 23-year-old living in Frisco, Texas.
Recently, Fisher was running errands when a friend said he had noticed a picture of a girl on Instagram who looked exactly like her.
But then, a few of her other friends began to send her photos of her twin. When she saw the picture herself, she couldn't believe the resemblance.
The young women look almost identical, especially when Fisher had lighter hair. "I was shocked," she said.
After initially freaking out, Fisher decided she had to speak with her doppelgänger. She tried to reach her on Instagram, but had little luck.
So, she decided to turn to the internet for help. She posted a side-by-side comparison of her and her "twin" to Imgur, asking people for help tracking her down.
"I just thought it would be nifty to talk to her and to see what she thought about the whole thing," she said. "It's not every day you get to talk to someone who wakes up with almost the same face as you every day."
Thousands of people responded to the photo, with some accusing Fisher of photoshopping two pictures of herself and others saying they looked nothing alike. Fisher also overlapped their photos, to show how alike they are.
After a few days, Fisher got a lead. An Imgur user recognized the other woman, 22-year-old Meredith Pond of Indiana, because they go to the same hairstylist.
Fisher reached out to her on Facebook and the "twins" finally had a conversation.
She said she can't speak to how exactly Pond feels, but she thinks she was probably "initially frightened and confused."
BuzzFeed News has reached out to Meredith for comment.
The most mind-blowing part of the whole thing for Fisher is actually not how much Pond looks like herself, but how much she thinks Pond looks like her mother.
But we know what you're thinking, and no, Fisher doesn't think she's in a Parent Trap situation.
"To be honest I was a little concerned at first, but then I realized there was just no way," she said.
She added she hopes she and Pond can meet in person someday.
"I read somewhere that everyone has at least six or seven people in the world that look a lot like you," she said. "I always thought it would be strange to meet one of those people."
Maybe they could ask these guys for advice?
