    What In The World Is An Arson Dog??

    When it comes to working dogs there are farm dogs, police dogs, even bed-bug sniffing dogs. What is an arson dog? Are they dogs that start fires because dogs and children shouldn't play with matches.

    Fire Marshal Doug Bennyhoff and K-9 Yancy are one of the newest arson dog team's trained through the State Farm Arson Dog Program. Fire Marshal Bennyhoff and K-9 Yancy are with the Great Falls Fire Rescue but will be investigating fires through the State of Montana - the first arson dog in the state!

    Doug and Yancy have just completed 4 weeks of training in Alfred, Maine. In this training excercise, Yancy has alerted to a drop of a gasoline mixture in a warehouse. She is sitting to indicate the smell and Doug rewards her find by feeding her.
