Too bad for Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I guess they simply aren’t two of the largest movie franchises in the world. I can see how Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (1 movie, not a franchise) and Avatar (1 movie, not a franchise) beat them out? Who writes this sh*t?!

Sucks that Marvel sold the movie rights to Spider-man & X-Men before the super hero movie revolution. It keeps those characters out of all the avenger movies and kills any chance of crossovers. That is…until the contract is up.
