murexmuris 6 months agoThis is an awesome story, but why was it in the LGBT section? Since the article contains nothing about LGBT issues, I’m guessing it’s because Anderson’s gay, and as a gay person, I find that stupid. Just because Anderson is gay doesn’t mean everything he does has to be labeled as LGBT-related.

Some one else on here said
“i’m guessing its because he’s gay. drag queens on rupaul’s drag race use the term “shade” to describe giving attitude to somneone. kind of dumb on buzzfeed’s part. just because anderson is gay doesn’t mean he is/has anything to do with drag queens.”
So, I guess they used the word for the same reason they labeled it GLBT.
