    About The Series

All portraits are courtesy of Jo Ann Santangelo, who took the photographs as part of the series, Austin Faces AIDS: Portraits of People Living with HIV and AIDS. It's a multimedia project meant to help increase HIV and AIDS awareness and "reduce stigma by putting a local face to this disease." Each portrait has a companion video, which can be viewed here (or click the source links above).
