Leena Yadav's Parched celebrates female friendships whilst dealing with issues of sexuality, violence against women, child marriage and patriarchy.
And the film shows these women break away from the shackles of male-dictated stereotypes.
The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last year and received rave reviews.
