The Sidewalks of New York are yet another husband-wife indie pop duo. (I had to refresh flickr a few times for a good fit, but I think it was worth it!)

Debut album from central NH's acoustic progressive metal band Mercateum. “They Will Soon Become Inevitable” is a concept album with a message about global warming. The band plays on instruments made from wood from sustainable forests and tours in a van powered by human waste.

Finally! Orlando's East Lancs Kinetic return with the release of “Quickly and Easily Tomorrow”. The production duo of DJ Voltron and Jimmy Midrange shot to the top of the domestic electronica scene in late 2000, on the success of their video “Pump/Jump” on MTV's late-night electronic music show “Amp.” Unfortunately MTV Cancelled “Amp” in 2001, and critics assailed the duo as “Ferry Corsten with less musical ability, if that's even possible”. “Quickly and Easily Tomorrow” is the result of 8 years of work in the studio, mostly spent learning how to play the piano. Look for it in the Dance/Electronica bin (which contains 14 CDs) at a FYE near you.
