Zuki Taylor-Hart loves Minecraft. He also has an awesome social conscious. He's making over 700 shelters on the Minecraft platform to donate money for rough sleepers in London.

Just one kid and his compassion changes the face of the homeless in London

Zuki loves video games, but his passion in Minecraft. When he was thinking about a way to make a real house for people, he started to wonder about those who don't have homes. After suggesting that his mum Rainbow Hart leave a blanket by the front door in case a homeless person might need it in the cold nights, Rainbow realised she needed to help Zuki realise his goal to help the homeless.

So they put our thinking caps on and came up with the idea that he could use Minecraft to build virtual shelters. Zuki could envision enough digital beds to house the total number of people who sleep on the streets of London on any one night.

Zuki says "I read that 742 people sleep on the streets every night in London, I feel really sad for them. I can't get them into my house because my house isn't big enough. But I can make somewhere for them in Minecraft, and if I can raise some money by doing that then I'll give it all to the homeless charity and maybe someone can sleep in a bed for real.

He is hoping people will all be able to sponsor him to complete this almighty task...it may take some time on the computer but he will be dedicated until the job is done!
