5 Times Barack Obama Forgot How To President

Sometimes, being the leader of the free world is tiring, right? Well apparently the POTUS has had a few problems executing his duties.

1. That time he campaigned for income equality

Yet he managed to only create more of the "class warfare" he so strongly detests. His big-budget campaigns, high-rolling Hollywood friends, and all-out war on the middle class and young Americans have only made things worse for all Americans. I guess he was right: we are all equal... equally fed-up with his poor economic policy.

2. On September 11, 2012

Although newly declassified documents show that the President and his administration knew of the terrorist attack in progress and could have prevented the slaying of Americans in the streets of Benghazi, Libya, he failed to act. Instead, he and those high-up in the Obama Administration failed to call it a terrorist event, and rather falsely blamed it on a YouTube video.

3. When his presidential pants were on fire

Rated the "Lie of the Year" by Politifact, this statement regarding Obamacare earned our Chief Executive a Mr. "Pants on Fire" title. I'm thinking President "I Cannot Tell A Lie" Washington or "Honest Abe" Lincoln were doing barrel rolls in their graves over this one.

4. When he "Surrendered" to the "Iranian nation's will"

Those are the words of Iranian President Rohani after negotiating with President Obama. Not exactly what we like to hear in the land of the free and the home of the brave. According to President Obama, this surrender is part of his larger plan to keep peace in the region, but I like to call it appeasement.

5. When he twiddled his thumbs on Syria

The situation in Syria was apparently moving faster than the Obama administration, as it allowed a power vacuum to be formed in the region, leading to a large and powerful jihadist presence. If Ronald Reagan had been this behind in dealing with the Soviets, I'd have started this listicle with, "Приветствие, товарищи!"

6. Bonus Failure!

The Heritage Foundation's annual ranking of freedom in countries around the world found the United States dropping once again. We've now dropped out of the top 10, and find ourselves next to nations such as Bahrain and Estonia. But most disturbing, we're ranked below Canada*, which is sixth (where we used to be).

*No offense to our friends to the North.

It's clear in the last six years that President Obama has been unlike any other president, but not in a good way. He's on track to double the nation's debt, he's led from behind on foreign policy issues, outright lied to the American people in order to cover up his own inadequacies, and is set on destroying the American Dream for my generation. The silver lining? President Obama's policies are starting to catch up with him and the Democrats, leading to great expectations for Republican hopefuls in 2014 and beyond. Does anyone else hear a lame duck quacking?
