Exams are the craziest time of the year and pressure to perform well runs high for both students and parents. But, a school from Kolkata had this refreshing message to give to the parents of its students.
P Sarathi Bhowal from the school PR department wrote the note. He told Buzzfeed India, "Since childhood, I have witnessed that in general, parents feel that success in life is directly proportional to performance in examinations. I don't agree with this simple concept and will not let anyone agree with the same. Why should examinations be the only benchmark for a child's success? A child should be encouraged to do the things which he or she loves to do."
