We were thinking, if there's something inexplicably sexy about vampires, why don't we see more of them on more TV shows? Here are 10 shows that NEED some vampire lovin'.

We would suggest that perhaps a vampire would be the one partner in crime who could truly understand Dexter leading a secret life as a serial killer.

2. Downton Abbey

A pale, sun-averse count with a mysterious fortune back in Transylvania would surprisingly not be an out-of-place character in Downton Abbey.

3. Girls

Can't you just see Hannah struggling to come up with plausible explanations for why a love interest won't go out with her during the day and insists on drinking her blood every time they make love?

4. Keeping Up With The Kardashians

The real question here is not how a vampire would fare on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, rather, how do we know there's not one (or several) on there already?

5. Kathie Lee & Hoda on TODAY

A vampire toasting with a goblet full of red liquid would easily fit in with Kathie Lee and Hoda on The Today Show, whose love of drinking red wine on the air is well known.
