12 Pop Culture Moments I Missed Out On Because of My Child

I love my daughter, I really do. Yes, she’s changed my life for the better and she’s brought a joy to my life that I’ve never had before and yatta yatta yatta. And I knew that I’d have to sacrifice some things in my life for her. But I didn’t think it would be so much pop culture. Here are a few things I’ve recently missed out on.

12. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (the 2nd half of the season)

Over the holidays I got all caught up on the first half of the season. Now, Skye's an Inhuman (I don't know what that means) and I think I saw Edward James Olmos pop up so maybe the Agents need help with their calculus? I have no idea.

11. House of Cards season 3

When he wasn't pounding the desk with his ring, Frank Underwood and his wife were pretty much pounding everything else (zing!) when I left them in season 2. But I just don't have it in me to binge on season 3 after three days of projectile vomiting.

Ok, so this is one that I've been saying for years that I need to watch and I never got around to it and right when I was about to I got into Breaking Bad and I couldn't take another show about drug dealers for a while and then I had a kid and now I'm just using my daughter as a scapegoat when people ask me what I think of The Wire.
