It's been a hell of a year for Kylie Jenner. I mean, she had a kid, became a billionaire, and turned 21 all at the same damn time.
Even Kylie's acknowledged her "epic year so far," as seen by the plethora of magazine covers she's graced recently.
As a matter of fact, three of those covers are for Glamour UK — she was their September cover girl. In the issue, Kylie talks about social media, body image, Stormi, and more.
Here's what she said about Kylie Cosmetics:
Most importantly, the business has given me a purpose. I love to work, as Mom has installed such a great work ethic in all of us. If I didn’t have that, I don’t know what I would do. I get to create, it exercises my mind, and I'm always thinking of how to make the formulas or develop new products.
On her body after pregnancy:
Now, with the internet, we have such a reach and we see so many different bodies and everyone embracing their body. When I went through such a body change recently with pregnancy, and saw my body in a whole new way at a super young age...my body is still not the same. But, loving every stage and appreciating all different types of bodies is something social media has taught me.
On staying positive:
So many negative things come at me all the time. Of course, it does affect me, but you develop a thick skin. Nothing has lasted so long that I haven’t gotten through it. So, whenever a new bad story or rumor emerges, I know it will pass, too. Everything in life is transient.
On social media:
Not everything you see on the internet is real life. No one has a perfect life or a perfect body or a perfect anything. So remember, when you're following your favorite Instagrammer, don’t strive to be that 'cause they aren’t even that.
