Social media has changed the world. It's hard to believe that in 2003, Facebook did not exist. A few short years later, it has over 500 million registered users. Twitter is growing by leaps and bounds, with approximately 150 million people communicating across the globe at 140 characters per tweet. There are many other websites with millions of users posting, chatting, emailing across the World Wide Web. These sites are wonderful tools to find long lost friends, keep in touch with faraway loved ones, and meet new people. But when it comes to your personal injury lawsuit, social media sites could be your worst enemy.
