It's not the same, but there's so much good quality Sherlock fanfiction out there it is worth having a look at.

5. Write your own fanfiction

Ever wondered what happened between Sherlock and Janine between the wedding and the crackhouse? You are only limited by your imagination.

6. Learn how to deduce like Sherlock

And practice it on your friends. Everyone loves a good Sherlock insult, right?

7. Solve crimes like Sherlock

8. Read the books

Especially the ones that the episodes were loosely based on - you'll be surprised at how much they are referenced.

9. Theorise about how Moriarty survived

Or if he really did... could it be another elaborate ploy? Maybe he has a twin... or a clone!

10. Troll for Season 4 updates

Troll the stars, BBC, and producers online to get any little tidbits about the show, and about Season 4 that might be thrown your way.
