Anurag Banerjee is a photographer who is in love with Mumbai. And his stunning Instagrams of the city are a testament to that fact.
Originally from Shillong, Anurag moved to the city two years ago, and has since been capturing the simpler, less chaotic moments of the city in black & white.
Anurag's pictures offer us a subtle glimpse of the city which we'd normally ignore in our day-to-day lives.
The pictures are often accompanied by wonderful captions which help in telling the story of the image.
Anurag told BuzzFeed India that the series "is also about where I come from, my roots, my small town upbringing. I am a sucker for nostalgia, so I tend to find it in anything."
"At times, when I am on a flyover or something, I almost laugh at myself. How did I land up in this monster of a city?"
A few days ago, Anurag's parents came to visit Mumbai. Needless to say, he beautifully documented their experience in the city.
