Jon Inverdale Has Apologised For Saying "Rose-C*nted Glasses" On BBC Radio 5 Live
He was supposed to have said "rose-tinted glasses". The BBC has said that it was a slip of the tongue. Note: this post obviously contains strong language.
John Inverdale, the BBC sports broadcaster, accidentally said "rose-c*nted" instead of "rose-tinted", during BBC Radio 5 Live horse racing coverage from Epsom.
Of course the gaffe is nothing compared to the time Jim Naughtie incorrectly pronounced Conservative politician Jeremy Hunt's name wrong on Today.
