I've seen them live and they're awesome. They deserve every bit of that award.

I don't know. Apparently the fans are devoted though. It's nice that you guys think they're good but the idea of “good” music is subjective, like someone else on here said.

I guess the ultimate question is whether awards shows should be a measure of quality or popularity. Quality is subjective, and popularity can be bought. It's rare to get a consensus on both.

i liked the one where the guy compared arcade fire fans to people that listen to alkaline trio because it was such a poor comparison, also the whole thing was just great, i can't believe people don't know who arcade fire is AND that they would get so mad about them “stealing” an award from the likes of perry, eminem and gaga.
