I’m actually surprised some people DON’T know who Arcade Fire is. Didn’t they participate in EVERY SOUNDTRACK last year?

WOW the Beiber kiss off AND this?!??!! Grammy actually got it right this year (maybe they’re finally looking for a little credibility).

I’ve seen them live and they’re awesome. They deserve every bit of that award.

I predict that in 2 years time the VMA’s will be more prestigious to the general public than the Grammies

I don’t know. Apparently the fans are devoted though. It’s nice that you guys think they’re good but the idea of “good” music is subjective, like someone else on here said.

I guess the ultimate question is whether awards shows should be a measure of quality or popularity. Quality is subjective, and popularity can be bought. It’s rare to get a consensus on both.

i liked the one where the guy compared arcade fire fans to people that listen to alkaline trio because it was such a poor comparison, also the whole thing was just great, i can’t believe people don’t know who arcade fire is AND that they would get so mad about them “stealing” an award from the likes of perry, eminem and gaga.

People who don’t know who Arcade Fire is, never heard good music.
