1. Thinking an umbrella will actually keep you dry
2. Looking down at your jeans to see the soaked-up water has reached your knees
3. You end up smelling like wet dog all day long
4. That drizzle that is so subtle, before you know it you're absolutely soaked
5. When it's bright and sunny out the front of your house and raining out the back
6. When you see the haar rolling in and knowing it's going to be an awful day
7. Never knowing what to wear
8. Not being able to find space in the bin for your broken Poundland umbrella due to all the other broken Poundland umbrellas already in the bin
9. Despite a wind so cold it has frozen snot to your lip, knowing there will be someone within a 250m radius quite happily walking around in a T shirt
10. Not caring about any of it because it means you can watch Wimbledon indoors as it’s too cold to go outside anyway
