What Rick Santorum Thinks Of Gay Marriage

Seriously?! I almost threw my laptop out of my window when I read these quotes.

Caution. These quotes may infuriate you to the point where you want go to Santorum's house and yell in his face.

"In every society, the definition of marriage has not ever to my knowledge included homosexuality. That's not to pick on homosexuality. It's not, you know, man on child, man on dog, or whatever the case may be." —Rick Santorum

•Your definition of marriage and the definition of marriage to others AGAINST marriage is completely wrong. Marriage is the union between people who are in love with each other and are committed to each other regardless of the way they were born. (i.e. Homosexual, heterosexual, African American, Caucasian, Latino, etc.)

•True marriage includes EVERYONE. It just so happens that we live in a judgmental world where people who let a book written thousands of years ago dictate their lives aka idiots get to choose who was created equal or who gets the same rights as the majority.

•Richard, you have no knowledge of anything

"One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country.... Many of the Christian faith have said, well, that's okay, contraception is okay. It's not okay. It's a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be." —Rick Santorum

•There is no danger of contraception. Contraception was created to protect people who are sexually active. Contraception has done no wrong. It has prevented unwanted pregnancies and has protected millions of people from Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Contraception is the only thing that keeps one with an STD from infecting their partner if they are having intercourse with that partner.

•"How things are supposed to be". Really?! If you are referring to the "magic fairytale book" aka the bible, then you have no idea how the world is supposed to be. From what I know of the bible which is already more than what I will ever need to know, the world should consist of people who do not eat shellfish, masturbate, or touch pigskin. People should be executed, sent to hell, or stoned to death for the tiniest of "offenses".

"[Gay marriage] is an issue just like 9-11... We didn't decide we wanted to fight the war on terrorism because we wanted to. It was brought to us. And if not now, when? When the supreme courts in all the other states have succumbed to the Massachusetts version of the law?" –Rick Santorum

•Gay marriage aka MARRIAGE is nothing like 9-11!!!!! 9-11 was a tragedy that killed thousands of people and left billions in tears. Gay marriage does nothing of the sort. It makes gay citizens of America wait… citizens of America equal to others.

"Is anyone saying same-sex couples can't love each other? I love my children. I love my friends, my brother. Heck, I even love my mother-in-law. Should we call these relationships marriage, too?" –Rick Santorum

•You love all of those people in your family… unless their gay right?

•You did not mention your wife. You did not mention the love between you and your wife because you view it as stronger or not sinful. You think that the love between two heterosexuals is stronger or simply better or more beautiful than the love between two homosexuals and that is 1,000,000% WRONG!!!!!

•The love or marriage between two homosexuals deserves the same protection under the law as the love or marriage between two heterosexuals.

•If two people are in a loving committed relationship, it should and it will be called a marriage.

•The love that same sex couples have for each other is not like the love that you have for your children, your friends, your mother-in-law, or your brother. It is the same love that you have for your wife. True love.
