Tinder is a dating app that has caught the attention of millions of singles across the globe just looking for love (even if just for the night).
So many hotties.
So many posing with adorable pets!
But some of these pictures are not what you think they are.
They are not in fact an image of a Tinder user and their cat or dog. They are photos of a Tinder user and a human.
Teamed with ReThink, Canada, Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) wanted to try their hand at a new strategy at finding the cats in their care new furever homes (see what I did there?).
And who better than single people? Singles are looking for love and there are plenty of cats out there ready to give it.
But cats aren't the only ones finding homes with right-swiping Tinder users. Dogs are well and truly in on the action, too.

Rosie Animal Adoption are setting up profiles for the waggily tailed dogs in their care, and carefully swiping right on Tinder singles whose interests and lifestyles match their dogs.
These dogs don't go out for kibble with just anyone, you guys.
This is a great, outside-the-box idea for getting animals in need of a home in front of a demographic who may not have considered sharing their bed with someone with FOUR legs instead of two.
And though, when swiping your way through Tinder potentials, the love of a dog or a cat may not be what you thought you wanted, it might just be what you need.
