Raymond Terrace’s historic King Street stood in for the main street of the fictional town of Wirrawee. Other filming locations included Dungog and the Blue Mountains. But one of the main bridges blown up in the film is the Luskintyre Bridge, in Lochinvar in the Hunter Region. The bridge itself was the largest in the state when it was built between 1902 and 1903. It was not harmed in the making of the film.
