1. You sleep on an air mattress in the kitchen.
2. You underestimate the weather.
3. Subway directions.
4. Your phone dies at the most inconvenient times.
5. Starbucks is your mecca.
6. You search on Tinder to pass the time before an interview.
7. Having the confidence to hit on girls thinking you'll never see them again.
8. You think walking across the Brooklyn Bridge sounds fun (in the winter).
9. You think you're a local after two weeks and provide directions to strangers.
10. And 30 minutes later you have no idea where you are.
11. You reach in your pockets to give your change to the homeless.
12. But then you realize you'd rather buy a donut across the street.
