stefferonipizza a year agoone more: hypothetical letters to people, inanimate objects, ideas, philosophies, experiences, things in general. for example: “dear rain, thanks for ruining my day. love, me.” or “dear guy at starbucks, thanks for taking the last stirrer. hope you rot in mocha hell. love, angry unstirred coffee girl.” cease and desist!

2. go away forever -

Frieda Claxton a year agoBiggest pet peeve is when I attempt to click play on a youtube video and I get this message: “The uploader has not made this video available in your country.”

k94 a year agoI have a lot of pet peeves. 1: People who say “TL/DR”, especially when it’s only a bloody paragraph. 2: 95% of Youtube comments. 3: I’m fine with some grammar and spelling mistakes. If you say “Your” instead of “You’re” every now and again, I understand and don’t mind. But if you spell incorrectly all the time, don’t make an effort to improve it, and get defensive when someone tells you that you don’t have to type like you’re on a cellphone or like an idiot, then I just get a headache. 4: Conspiracy theorists. 5: People who get angry when someone else likes something they don’t. So on and so forth.

turtlefeed a year agoThe rampant sexism and use of gendered stereotypes that derives from people not knowing the difference between gender and sex, which often goes hand-in-hand a tendency to assume gendered behavior is natural, rather than constructed, and/or universal in men or women. Really, the worst is when stereotypes like “girls should care about fashion!” or “boys are icky” are mixed into pseudo-intellectual articles so a whole new generation can soak ‘em up and pass them on to their kids.
