This Is The Most Shockingly Racist Comment Section You’ll Ever See
Apparently this Washington, DC Examiner article, posted today, about race relations in America’s restaurants got bombarded with racist commenters.
At the time of posting this there are over 100 shocking comments flooding the site. The article covered a controversial survey submitted to “The Journal Of Black Studies.”
The new survey, completed by two sociologists, one from Wayne State University, the other from North Carolina State University, adds to the explosive atmosphere sparked by the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Florida that’s been followed by racial clashes around the nation. Notable in the survey: of the 200 servers who participated, 87 percent were white.

robb21 6 months agoAs an individual the world isn’t centered around you. Try words like thank you, and hope you have a nice day instead of looking for a fight and showing hatred. Restaurants are places to go to eat, drink and be merry so if your offended by others just think, maybe they are offended by you. kindness goes along way so search your own heart no matter who you are and treat others like you would like to be treated. The contribution concerning slavery, quit living in the past and blaming the generations of today for previous generations no one can change the past so live today you might find a better tomorrow. Words are powerful, use them wisely. Be responsible for your own actions, others will notice and follow your lead. Just because you don’t agree with someone does not make you a racist or a bigot and calling another person a racist or bigot because they don’t agree with you makes you the racist and bigot. Have a good day and may peace and love find it’s way into your heart.

benleyreall 8 months agoI just thought this over that its not black people fault to act rude,loud and angry. Its the fact that our ancestors went through slavery and died. Ever thought of that for once. So why do you white people get so shocked that some of those blacks act the way they do. What you expect them to just let it go so easy and try everything in they’re power to be calmed and all generous to everyone. Also think of this what if it was the other way around. For example White people went through slavery instead of black,then how would you think that’ll be like today.

The civility score sounds like Big Brother’s favorite number. While we’re at it, why not make everyone wear civility armbands? Let’s see, scores below 500 get bright red bands. That way we’ll know how to treat these people. We can group them all together and ship them to a different part of town! It’d be better and easier for us to concentrate them in one place! Because they’re civility scores are so low, they probably don’t deserve as nice of things. And if there’s overcrowding, I suppose we can find a way to get rid of them somehow… UH…

stop talking about race. it is such a disservice to the black community to continually discuss white-on-black racism. it isn’t effective and it alienates people who would otherwise be on the same side. its like the trayvon martin shooting, if it had only been discussed as a man murdering a child it would have probably been a helluvalot simpler then having it be racially charged. creating racial borders only perpetuates differences and exacerbates stereotypes.

Villain a year agoPeople’s behavior is not based on race, it’s primarily based on class… You will have just as many, rude, agressive, brash poor whites, hispanics, asians. Stop thinking it’s a race issue. People are so blind to see we live in a class system all they see is skin color. There a lots of poor people who do not have good manners or behavior

I think some of the servers are victims of their own bias… Case in point, I was in a restaurant with my 5 y/o daughter last night. Just the two of sitting in a booth, she was working on a color sheet while I read the menu. In the booth in front of us were two elderly white women, and behind us a young white couple. Both of them were finishing their meals. I placed my order with the waitress and helped my daughter with the coloring. Then our food comes. A few minutes later, the waitress goes to booth 1 and says “So ladies, what are you having for dessert?” A few minutes pass, she goes to booth 2 “So have you guys decided on dessert?” A few more minutes later, while me and daughter are still eating our dinner, she walks up and gives us the check, and walks away. No mention of dessert for us, or if we would like anything else. I didn’t make a big deal about it, we ended up ordering dessert anyways…and I still tipped her…but I think, these servers already have their own preconceived notions, so they don’t put forth as much effort and then when they don’t get tipped they get upset and the cycle spins…

jessicaannb a year agoHate me all you want idc.. I know first hand most of this is true.. I have attended a black school and a white school.. I get in more fights/arguments at the black school.. They are loud, rude, and disrespectful.. Not all of them but most.. And before you go crazy I am dating a black man so don’t start..

I’ve waited on every color of the rainbow. Plain and simple some people (no matter color) are bigots and assholes. They see a white girl and either focus on my color or my service. I can’t control which one, I just treat them all the same. I will say that sometimes you can’t please people no matter what color you or they are, that’s just the shit you put up with. But hey, sometimes when you see your table and it’s a bunch of trashy looking “Canadians” your heart skips a beat.
