Apparently, Thanks To "Frozen," Elsa Has Become One Of The Most Popular New Baby Names Of 2014

    What have we done?

According to the UK-based BabyCenter.com, after combing through a database of 555,000 baby names, Elsa has become one of the hottest new baby names for 2014.

This year it's the 88th most popular name in BabyCenter's database and it's the first year "Elsa" has broken the top 100 for them.

It appears that the popularity of Frozen caused a 34% jump the name's popularity, but it doesn't just stop there.

BabyCenter has noticed jumps in the popularity of other Frozen-inspired names. Even Olaf...

It should be noted though, that according to the U.S. Social Security Administration, Elsa is still pretty far down the list.

It's not the first time a piece of pop culture has inspired parents to name their children something off-beat. BabyCenter noticed similar trends with Duck Dynasty and Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Also, Khaleesi from Game Of Thrones has been on the rise since 2012.

So, uh, that's fun, I guess.
