Jason Methner enlisted the help of his friend and animator Yoni Limor to make a storybook about his relationship with a proposal to his girlfriend Molly Lipsitz at the end.
The storybook starred Jason as a turtle and his girlfriend Molly as a bunny, her favorite animal.
Jason then hid it in the stacks of Chicago's Harold Washington Library, which they agreed to, as long as they could put photos of it on their Facebook page.
Molly told Today.com that she knew what was going on by the third page.
When she was done reading, Jason dropped to one knee and proposed in real life, as photographer Aparna Paul Jain captured the whole thing hidden in the library's shelves.
