1. Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top
Gibbons played with Queens of the Stone Age on the song "Burn the Witch" from the album Lullabies to Paralyze.
2. Jack Black
Jack Black also appears on "Burn the Witch," doing handclaps and stomps.
3. Rob Halford from Judas Priest
Rob Halford was recording in a studio next door to the band while they were recording "Feel Good Hit of the Summer," and the band pulled him in to do backing vocals. He appears on the song's last chorus.
4. Julian Casablancas from The Strokes
Casablancas plays casio guitar—a guitar/synth combo—on "Sick, Sick, Sick" on the album Era Vulgaris.
5. Shirley Manson from Garbage
The Garbage frontwoman is credited as providing "sultry vocals" on the song "You Got a Killer Scene There, Man..."
6. Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails
Trent Reznor has been a pretty big contributor to Queens of the Stone Age over the years. He's credited as a recurring member on both 2007's Era Vulgaris and 2013's ...Like Clockwork.
7. Aaron North from Nine Inch Nails
Nine Inch Nails' lead guitarist Aaron North has also played Queens of the Stone Age, though only live.
8. Dean Ween from Ween
Dean Ween provided guitar on the final track of The Queens of the Stone Age album Songs for the Deaf.
9. Peter Stahl from Scream
Peter Stahl (the guy without a shirt on with the microphone) has worked with Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme on a bunch of projects. He toured with QOTSA in the late '90s for a short time.
10. Joey Castillo from Danzig
He replaced Dave Grohl on tour, who was drumming for the band at the time. He went on to record drums Lullabies to Paralyze and Era Vulgaris. He did a little bit on ...Like Clockwork before leaving the band in 2012.
11. Brody Dalle from The Distillers
Bad ass punk chick and lead singer of the Brody Dalle-Homme is actually married to Josh Homme. And she appeared on "You Got a Killer Scene There, Man..." with Garbage's Shirley Manson.

Sir Elton appears on ...Like Clockwork playing piano.
13. Most of the members from Screaming Trees
The Screaming Trees' Mark Lanegan became a full-fledged member of QOTSA from 2000-2005. Van Conner, Barret Martin, and Gary Lee Conner have all contributed to various Josh Homme projects over the years, as well.
14. Jon Theodore from The Mars Volta
Jon Theodore was added as a full-time drummer to QOTSA while the band was recording ...Like Clockwork. He played with The Mars Volta from 2001-2006.
15. Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys
Artic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner does backing vocals on "If I Had A Tail" on ...Like Clockwork.
16. Josh Freese, permanent member of The Vandals and Devo
Josh Freese has played with almost every rock band under the sun, but he's co-written a good amount of songs for Queens Of The Stone Age, as well.
17. Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters
Scissor Sisters lead singer Jake Shears appears on the opening track of ...Like Clockwork, doing vocals on "Keep Your Eyes Peeled."
18. Liam Lynch (The guy who wrote "The United States Of Whatever")
Lynch has worked with Josh Homme often over the years. He's done music videos and DVDS with them before, featured the band on his podcast Lynchland. In 2007, Lynch appeared on The Queens of the Stone Age album Era Vulgaris, doing backing vocals.
19. Chris Goss
Chris Goss has been playing with Josh Homme for a very, very, very long time. He's appeared on a good amount of their albums, playing all kinds of different instruments, and co-producing a few of them. He, also, plays with the band live on occasions.
20. Matt Cameron from Soundgarden and Pearl Jam
Cameron's recorded with Queens of the Stone Age before and played with the band live a few times.
21. Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl has recorded drums and done backing vocals for the band over the years. He, also, toured with them in 2002 and will be touring with them again in support of ...Like Clockwork.
22. Mike Johnson from Dinosaur Jr
Johnson played with them in the late '90s and did backing vocals for their song "Leg of Lamb." Most importantly though, he's credited with sitting on a sofa during the recording of their first album.
23. Troy Van Leeuwen from A Perfect Circle
Van Leeuwen has been a long-time member of the band, playing guitar with them since the release of Songs for the Deaf.
24. Fictional Blue Öyster Cult cowbel player Gene Frenkle
Probably their most important contributor over the years, Fenkle appeared on stage with the band, lending his signature cowboy sound to a live performance on Saturday Night Live. After the performance, it seems as though Fenkle dropped off the grid, to never be heard from again.
