New Netflix Mailing Service Is Called “Qwikster,” Mascot Is A Pot Smoking Elmo
At least it is on Twitter. Netflix announced they are spinning off its DVD service and branding it as “Qwikster,” but apparently forgot to check Twitter and see if someone was already using that name. Personally, I don’t think you could have done any better of a job in selecting a Netflix…or sorry, a Qwikster mascot than a pot blazing Elmo that hates sloppy seconds. Now you’ll be mailing out pot AND DVDs, yes? Another bold marketing move from Netflix.
