"You're going to kick cancer's ass today because you're a bad ass sister!"

A woman has filmed herself dancing to the hit single "Teach Me How to Dougie" for her sister who is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

In the video, that has been shared over 50,000 times on Facebook and viewed more than 1.7 million times since yesterday, she says that she'll be doing her own dance to the song because "I am not a follower!"

The woman in the video states that she selected the song – by Cali Swag District – for "round seven of chemo", which suggests that this isn't the first time she's filmed herself dancing for a video to support her sister.

She adds that she hopes her sister enjoys it for "chemo day."

She then begins to dance and sing along to the song, and says that she wishes her sisters son was there to dance with her.

"I do my own thing! A little butt action!" she adds while pulling some quite decent moves. The thousands of comments under the video mostly agree, with most people saying: "Wow, she can actually dance."

Near the end, she stops dancing and sends her sister a message of support: "You're going to kick cancer's ass today because you're a bad ass sister... I love you with all my heart and my soul. That's about it for today! I admire you. Later gater!"
