Yesterday, Joan Collins, a member of the United Left Alliance party and TD for Dublin-South, was arrested a water charges protest in the city.
She and the thirteen other protesters arrested with her were later released maintaining they were taking part in a 'peaceful' protest.
It would appear that some people on Twitter got a little bit confused, however, and mistook Joan Collins the TD for Joan Collins, the Legend.
Joan Collins of Dynasty took to Twitter this morning to clarify any confusion.
Alas, it appears that Joan the Legend will not be making an appearance at a water charges protest near you any time soon. We can all live in hope, though.
