Wasabichan slowly gained strength back and her weight increased to 1040 grams at this point. When she was first found, she was malnutritioned and weighed only 210 grams.
The owner said that though with difficulty, Wasabichan kept trying to practice eating food on her own. She was able to swallow a dried cat food after many practices.
On August 26th, Wasabichan was feeling ill, she kept throwing up. She went to see the vet and received a shot to prevent her nausea. Above photo shows Wasabichan resting in her cage.

Later that night, around 6:30 in the evening, Wasabichan has passed away.
