Malala Yousafzai Completely Smashed Her GCSEs

Her father shared the Nobel Peace Prize winner's results on Twitter.

The father of Malala Yousafzai has shared her GCSE results on Twitter today and it’s fair to say she did pretty damn well.

    Six A*s and four As.

My wife Toor Pekai and I are proud of Malala getting 6A*s and 4As. #education for every child.

Ziauddin Yousafzai shared the news the day after hundreds of thousands of teenagers discovered their GCSE results.

His daughter, the youngest-ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, took her exams at Edgbaston High School in Birmingham.

The 18-year-old started at the school after moving to the UK from Pakistan.

In October 2012 she was shot in the head by the Taliban for campaigning for girls' education.

Last year she jointly won the Nobel prize with Indian child rights campaigner Kailash Satyarthi.

Malala has previously told The Guardian that she's planning to continue her education in the UK and wants to do arts subjects in her A-levels next year.
