14 Challenges College Students Face Going To Class

Waking up and making it to class without a few hurdles is few and far between. Here's collection of the ever daunting obstacles college kids face on the way to class and the awkward and/or annoying moments in the lecture hall.

1. The Snooze Button.

The realization that no matter how many times you hit that button, pulling yourself out of your natural habitat (aka your bed) is inevitable and depressing.

2. You walk outside and everyone looks like this:

3. And you're all like THIS:

Perfectly curled hair before 9 am? Suspicious.

4. No matter where you are, weather is ALWAYS a factor

Living up north it seems as if walks to class are comparable to arctic treks. Frequent arctic treks.

However, we have FLOODS!

Just a terrible, wet, horrible obstacle to class. Unless of course you have a spare raft/canoe laying around.

5. You manage to scrape up some extra time, so you hit up the local Starbucks on campus and it looks like this:

PUMPKIN SPICE ADDICTS EVERYWHERE.

6. Conversely, you're late and you turn into a superhero in a race against time

People, traffic, bikes, oh my. It's like dodging grenades out there, school is a battlefield.

7. Bike. Parking. Ugh.

If you so choose to ride your bike to class, finding a spot for it can be a little like a scavenger hunt.

8. YOU'VE MADE IT! But then..

Everyone in the class decided to A) show up and B) get there before you. This results in the treacherous task of climbing over knees, bookbags, and feet to find a seat. Ten points if you don't fall.

9. Then there's the On-The-Go Breakfast Student..

You make me hungry and no food makes me angry. Go away.

10. Know-It-Alls

11. The professor starts calling on people and you have no idea what is actually happening right now

SO MUCH ANXIETY. SO MANY THOUGHTS.

But if you get it right..

What's that? Yeah. I just dropped hella knowledge.

12. Class is technically over but the professor WON'T STOP TALKING

She can't stop, and she won't stop

13. Friday. Morning. Hangovers.

The professor sounds like the teacher from Charlie Brown. Can I keep my sunglasses on? Each minute is an eternity. What is life? TORTURE.

14. Bonus Points if your ex and his new girlfriend are in your class

Awkward is your life, your home, and your middle name. Everything is painful.
